Who we are

FatRat.Ink (“we,” “us”) is a sole proprietorship at 5209 South 12th Street, Arlington, VA 22204. These terms cover booking an appointment through this site and our text messaging program. Questions: fatratink@gmail.com.

Booking

Booking requests are reviewed by the artist and aren’t guaranteed to be accepted. When a request is approved, a deposit (sent by Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo) locks in your booking and counts toward the final price. Appointment times offered to you are first come, first booked. You’ll be asked to sign a waiver before your appointment and to show valid photo ID at the studio.

Text messaging program

The FatRat.Ink booking notification program is operated by FatRat.Ink, a sole proprietorship, and sends booking-related text messages from (833) 722-6807 to clients who provide a phone number with their booking request at fatrat.ink/book.

  • What we send: your private booking link, deposit requests, deposit confirmations, appointment time offers, appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, reminders about a stalled booking, and notifications when the artist replies to you.
  • Frequency: varies with your booking activity, up to 10 messages per booking.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier’s plan.
  • Optional: providing a phone number is not a condition of booking or of any purchase — everything also arrives by email.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to cancel. You’ll receive one final message confirming you’ve opted out, and nothing further.
  • Opt back in: reply START to the same number, or include your phone number on a future booking request.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message, or email fatratink@gmail.com.
  • Carriers: supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site or the messaging program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
